Lauren is/was 10 Months old, and other stuff

Well, Lauren's 10 month birthday came and went, and I was too busy to post any pics on the blog. So here we go:



Lauren now has 2 teeth. It is so cute. She has a great time at Ms. Kelly's house everyday playing with Lila and Sabrina. But she still kicks her legs and starts giggling when I walk in the door. Sometimes I get a "kiss" which consists of an open mouth on my face. She is also fascinated with my mouth, teeth and tongue and loves to try to grab my tongue. She is almost walking. She likes to cruise around the house on her walker:

Freddy had surgery to remove a tumor off of the base of his ear (benign, yay!). Nothing is sadder than a dog with a cone following you around with a leash:

Lauren is 9 months old!

Lauren is now 9 months old! I can't believe it. Time goes by so quickly. She is almost crawling, she can do an "army crawl", scooting across the room. She wants to pull up on everything, and I have a feeling she will walk early, she is just so determined to be standing. We went to the dr on Friday, and she apparently had a growth spurt in height! She is 17lbs, 28in. She is still in the 10-15%ile for weight, but she moved from 25th to above the 50th for height. Her big noggin is still in the 95% :) She is about to start at Miss Kelly's, an in-home child care that was recommended to us. Miss Kelly is very energetic and I think Lauren will fit in great there. She only keeps 3 babies at a time, and one of the other babies is 1 day older thank Lauren. The other little girl is 18 months. Brett got a job, working as a customer service rep for a landscape company, so Lauren has been hanging out with her Grandpa Peveto until she starts at Miss Kelly's. She is having a blast with him :) Here are a few pics we took today:

Weekend of Bed and Breakfasts

With Lucy's seizure scare last weekend, we didn't think we would get to go to Arkansas to meet Drew and Jenny and kids, but by Tuesday she was feeling better and it was on. We spent the last weekend in Cotter, AR at Jenny's Gran's bed and breakfast. We had a great time with lots of homemade food and fun. Then on the way back, we stayed with Brett's uncle in Gentry, AR at their B&B. Good times!

It's been awhile...

So, my dad pointed out to me that I haven't posted much lately on the blog. I am guilty of that for sure! Just been really busy, and always end up posting pics on facebook. But, Lauren has grown soo much since I posted last, she is sitting up, getting on her hands and knees and rocking (maybe she will be crawling soon??), and generally being sweet and cute.
